About Sarah & Kevin:

From the moment we met, we knew this was something special. We immediately had an undeniable chemistry and connection. From the very first date, our conversations were deep and meaningful. We were able to strike this amazing balance of rich conversation, immense friendship, remarkable excitement and romance. We both knew how lucky we were to find true, lasting love. A love that we knew would last a lifetime.

Our love story wouldn’t be complete without a truly romantic proposal. Kevin planned a surprise proposal on top of Rotary Hill in Downtown Naperville’s Riverwalk on November 17th. Little did he know, this very special date is the same engagement date as both my parents and maternal grandparents! He had arranged for both of our parents to surprise me right after he popped the question. Inside that little red box from James & Sons was a stunning, internally flawless, natural round brilliant diamond engagement ring. Gabriel & Co. custom setting, with 12 round channel-set diamonds, 2 peek-a-boo diamonds and euro shank. After the proposal, Kevin took our families to Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Naperville to celebrate. After which, he took me to Galena for a very romantic weekend.

Fast forward to October 19, 2024. We were married at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Naperville – my family’s parish. Where I was baptized, received first communion and confirmed. St. Raphael was the perfect place for our Catholic mass wedding. After we tied the knot, we headed to DiNolfo’s Banquets in Homer Glen. Our reception space was the Walnut Room, a truly beautiful ballroom with a double staircase for our grand entrance. The room was a dream come true. With magnificent fresh custom floral arrangements on each table and jaw-dropping fresh floral arch behind the head table.

There were several surprises that my parents arranged ahead of time. One of which was the installation of elegant white drapery and crystal chandeliers at the entrance of the room. It felt like you were walking into a fairytale wedding. Kevin and I both love music so our first dance was unforgettable. To our surprise, my parents arranged for cold sparks along the perimeter of the dance floor and DiNolfo’s special ‘dancing on the cloud’ to fill the dance floor for our first dance. We were told by so many that the room was truly filled with love and joy. We are so grateful for such an exceptional evening and to share it all with the ones we love.

After our big day we headed to Rome and Positano, Italy – for an unforgettable honeymoon!

Sam from our Naperville store helped the couple find their stunning rings!

Her Rings: Gabriel & Co. custom engagement ring with an internally flawless, natural round brilliant diamond set with 12 round channel-set diamonds, and 2 peek-a-boo diamonds. The wedding band was also a custom Gabriel & Co. band with 11 channel-set round diamonds.

His Ring: Gabriel & Co. diamond men’s band set in 14k white gold.
