THE LOVE STORY OF JESSICA & KEVIN:

They say there’s an invisible string that connects two people meant to meet, even before they know it. For us, that string pulled us together in the most un expected way. Spending most of our childhoods living less than 3 minutes from each other and attending the same middle school & high school, graduating the same year (not ever knowing each other), who knew we would find each other through a dating app in our late 20’s. When we met I was living in Wisconsin and Kevin was living in Illinois. We started getting to know each other through several FaceTime dates. I remember getting off our FaceTimes and my cheeks would be hurting from laughing and smiling so much. To this day, our relationship is full of laughter. Our first real date was in June of 2021, from there we spent that summer falling in love while traveling back and forth to Illinois & Wisconsin. Distance wasn’t easy but it was so worth it. In April of 2022 we made the big move and started living together! This is when Kevin’s condo went from being a bachelor pad to a home. From the second I started visiting Kevin at his condo and then moving in, I knew we would make that house a home and that’s exactly what we did. We fill that house with laughter and love every day.

Fast forward to February 17, 2024, the day our forever really started. Kevin created the most beautiful proposal that took me by such surprise. We took a horse and carriage ride in snowy Wisconsin, followed by him getting down on one knee (in the snow) and asking him if I would marry him, with the most stunning ring from James & Sons Jewelers. Happiest day of my life!

Now we are married! We are the Shepp’s. We have been through some things newly married couples don’t have to take on this early in life but our love carried us through times of illness & heart break with the loss of my mom in November of 2025. Through all the amazing times and the hard times we laugh together, get stronger together & appreciate each other even more now and that is something that is so special. Thanks James & Sons for being part of our journey. We couldn’t have asked for a better jeweler to help us!
